FAQs – Vacation Home Rentals

Booking Your 30A Vacation

  • How and when do I pay for my reservation?

    A 50% deposit is due for your reservation at the time of booking. The remaining 50% must be paid in full 45 days prior to your check in date.

  • When will I receive my reservation confirmation?

    A reservation confirmation will be emailed to the email address on file as soon as a booking with payment occurs.

  • When do I sign my Guest Rental Agreement?

    We ask that your Guest Rental Agreement is signed at booking as we do require this to be signed before any door codes or property information is sent to you.

  • Can I make changes to my reservation?

    Changes can be made to your reservation if your reservation check in day is 90 days out or more.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Reservations made directly with 30A Vacay may be cancelled by notifying 30A Vacay in writing at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to your Check-In date. In such direct booking instances, the full amount of your advance payment will be refunded less a $250 cancellation fee. If you used a third-party booking service such as VRBO or Airbnb to make your reservation, the cancellation policy of such third-party booking service will control and take the place of the preceding sentences. In all instances, if you cancel a stay or a portion of a stay after the respective cancellation period, you will forfeit the full amount of the total booking charges. No discount to the total booking charges or any refunds will be given for any adjustments or changes to your reservation after the respective cancellation period for any reason, including late arrivals, early departures, inclement weather, maintenance and/or housekeeping issues, failure, outages or noise. 30A Vacay reserves the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates at the time of reservation if the rates have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error.

  • What is your cleaning policy?

    The safety of our guests is our highest priority, and we take preventative measures to ensure the health of everyone in our community. Please read more about our cleaning policy.

  • Are pets allowed?

    We have a few properties that are pet friendly, but most are not. When searching for a rental you can also use the “Pet Friendly” filter in the booking engine to narrow your search to pet-friendly homes, or email or call us for more information.

Planning for your Stay

  • What items are included in the vacation rental? What should I bring?

    Our vacation rentals include linens and towels, plus a start-up supply of paper and cleaning products. The housekeeping team will provide the proper number of linens and start-up products for the number of guests in your group. Most of our rentals have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. First aid kits and fire extinguishers are available. Medicines such as ibuprofen are not provided. We suggest bringing personal items and groceries. The vacation rental will be equipped with a starter shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash in each bathroom. Also, there will be 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. The kitchens will have 1 roll of paper towels, a small dish washing soap, a dishwasher packet, and 1 garbage bag per trash can. Please note that you will be responsible for purchasing extra items such as paper products or cleaning supplies.

  • Will beach towels be provided?

    No, our homes are stocked with bath towels and linens for the beds, but nothing to take out of the home. Please remember to bring any beach towels, pool towels or beach blankets to use during your stay.

  • Is there WiFi at the vacation rental?

    Yes, all of our vacation rentals include WiFi.

  • Will there be a daily or mid-week maid service?

    These services are available upon request for an additional charge. Please inquire when booking your reservation.

  • Are Beach Chairs and Umbrellas provided?

    A few of our rental homes do include one set up, but you will need to double check when making your reservation to confirm if your rental includes them.

  • Are bikes provided?

    Some of our properties do come with bikes. If you need additional bikes, please see our Concierge Services page for bike rental recommendations.

  • Can we get additional pool passes for people in our group?

    No, each home is allowed 2 pool passes per the Homeowner’s Association. 1 pool pass will get a group in, so no need to worry about having 1 per person.

  • Do I have complimentary access to the fitness and tennis centers?

    Your pool pass will provide you “access” to the facilities, but there will be a daily/hourly/weekly fee to use them.

Checking in to your Vacation Home

  • When will I receive my check in information?

    This information is sent via email when your final payment is processed. Typically, we send you the details 45 days prior to your arrival to the email address we have on record.

  • How do I check in?

    We keep the check in process simple for our valued guests. All our vacation rentals have keys or keyless access codes right on the property. You do not have to check in with an office.

  • What are the check in/check out times?

    Check-in is at 5pm and check out is at 10am. We apologize for the inconvenience but currently we are not able to accommodate an early check-in or a late check-out.

  • What should we do before leaving the rental property?

    We just ask that you start a load of towels and any dirty dishes in the dishwasher (if possible). Please turn off the lights and reset the thermostat to 76 degrees. Then just lock the doors and put any keys back in the key boxes (if applicable). Don’t forget to double check the drawers and closets for your personal items.
